The Institute for Child Development (ICD) provides an array of exemplary programs, resources, outreach and training to Binghamton University and the greater community related to Autism.  


Our Mission: To improve quality of life for autistic and neurodivergent individuals, their families, and communities through excellence in the provision of high-quality, person-centered, evidence-based and innovative practice, education and research.

The updated handbook was developed in consistency with regulatory requirements of the Center for Disease Control, NYS Governor’s Office, NYS Education Department, NYS Department of Health, Broome County Department of Health, and Binghamton University/Research Foundation for SUNY at Binghamton as related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
